Kevin Lynch Basketball Camp
This camp is run by former NBA and Gopher basketball player Kevin Lynch who has been organizing and running summer basketball camps for over 21 years! Kevin’s goal in running a great camp is simple: learn, and have a lot of fun! All skills will be focused upon, including shooting/ shooting mechanics, ball handling, passing, rebounding, one on one moves, position specific skills, free throws, shot fakes, amongst others. Also, he’ll be teaching basic team instruction such as defense, pick n’ roll and give n’ go. Every camper will be placed on a team, and 5 on 5 games will be played on a daily basis – which allows each player to work on the skills that are being taught. Kevin runs an organized, competitive and challenging camp. And remember - the skills that he learned going to summer basketball camps as a kid, helped him get to the highest level of basketball in the world. So come join the FUN! Please bring a bag lunch and snack with you each day.
