ECFE- Early Childhood Family Education
-
ECFE Bridge to Preschool (29 mo-4 yrs)
-
A unique blend of parent-child time and peer group interaction offering an introductory preschool experience. Families
registered for fall session will be given priority registration for winter/spring session. We are offering two sessions, Tuesday/Thursday and Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.
2 Day Bridge
Tuesday is Parent-Child Day: Parents
attend with their children. The first hour is an opportunity for play, modeling
social interactions, and participating in your child’s learning. The
second-hour parents separate for fun, educational parent discussions around
supporting their child’s development. Sibling care is available for this day
each week.
Thursday is Child-Only Day: This is
a drop-off day where your child will interact with peers led by a licensed
early childhood teacher. An introduction to basic skills along with music, a
story, and gym/outdoor time are included each day. Children will follow a
typical preschool schedule and learn basic routines and expectations in
preparation for preschool. Children working toward toilet training are welcome
to attend. Parents will need to send a nut-free snack and drink to class each
day.
