Youth Fishing Night on Lake Waconia

Prepare your fishing pole and join us on Lake Waconia! You’ll learn to bait your hook, cast your line and have lots of fun catchin’ fish with your friends! We will explore different baits and techniques to help us catch fish. For the new and the experienced anglers... Even if you’re already familiar with fishing, take it to the next step and see who can land the biggest fish between you and your friends. We’ll meet down at the Cedar Pointe Park Dock on Lake Waconia (near the tennis courts). All fishing will be from the safety of the dock and all fish will be released back into the lake. Bait will be provided, however, you must bring your own age appropriate rod and reel, and bobber. Parents are welcome to stay and assist their child but it is not necessary. Space is limited on the pier, so casting room is appreciated!
