West Metro Prowlers 14U-18U Softball Training Sessions - w/ Coach Mackenzie Vogelgesang

These training sessions will consist of small groups for the Waconia Wildcats 12U and West Metro Prowlers 14U BigWest rostered athletes. Please bring your own catcher's gear and come ready to enhance your catching skills! (Reach out to Holly Wortz at least 3 days in advance if you need to borrow catcher's equipment. hwortz@isd110.org) Pre Registration is required to attend.

Mackenzie (Clouse) Vogelgesang grew up in Waconia, MN. She started her softball journey playing traveling softball for the Waconia Wildcats and MN Chaos. She went on to catch 134 games/ four years for the DII SMSU Mustangs. Following her time at SMSU, she coached for the Minnesota A’s/ Vortex 18u. She is currently the Assistant Varsity coach for the Waconia Wildcats.These sessions are FREE for all 2023 rostered 14U-18U West Metro Prowlers athletes, however, you still need to register by February 6th.

Waconia Wildcats 12U Softball Training Sessions (COMBINED w/ 14U-18U if openings) - w/ Coach Mackenzie Vogelgesang

There is limited space for 2023 rostered 12U Waconia Wildcats BigWest athletes to attend these training sessions as this time slot gives priority to the 14U-18U Prowlers. Registration is open to 12U athletes beginning February 7th IF there are openings.

*Please note, that if you participated in the Waconia High School Softball program in 2022 you are NOT eligible to sign up for this session as Coach Voges needs to follow the guidelines of the MSHSL rules for off season training with her athletes.

Monday, February 13

W-288: 3:15pm-4:15pm (Fielding/Hitting)

W-289: 4:15pm-5:15pm Catchers Training (Catchers are encouraged to invite a pitcher friend with them to assist in their skills training. Not required but encouraged.)

Waconia Middle School Gym

Fee: 14U-18U Prowlers Team Members FREE

Fee: 12U Wildcats Team Members $10 per session (is space available)

Minimum: 6 Maximum: 24
