Waconia Middle School Pep Band

Welcome to the Waconia Middle School Pep band. Pep band at the middle school is set up to be a fun and rewarding musical experience for band students at all levels. All pep band events will coincide with high school varsity games. Students interested in participating in pep band can sign up at Waconia Community Education or email Mr. Snyder psnyder@isd110.org for questions.

Below is our planned rehearsal and performance schedule for the 2023 - 24 season.

• Monday December 4th - Rehearsal @WMS Band room - 3:15 - 4:15 pm

• Tuesday December 12th - Rehearsal @WMS Band room - 3:15 - 4:15 pm

• Monday January 8th - Rehearsal @WMS Band room - 3:15 - 4:15 pm

• Tuesday January 9th - Girls Hockey game @ Waconia Ice Arena - 6:30 pm

• Tuesday January 16th - Boys Basketball Game @WHS gym - 6:30pm

• Tuesday January 23rd - Rehearsal @WMS Band room - 3:15 - 4:15 pm

• Thursday January 25th - Boys Hockey Game @ Waconia Ice arena - 6:30pm

• Monday January 29th - Girls Basketball Game @ WHS gym - 6:30 pm All pep band practices will take place in the Middle school band room right after school from 3:15 - 4:15pm

All music will be provided.

At every event, the band will perform pre game through the first half of each game. (usually around 8:00pm) Students are welcome to stay and watch the end of the game or can be picked up after half time.

Every WMS band student is eligible to participate in middle school pep band. There is no audition, however students are expected to attend all after school rehearsals/ communicate any schedule conflicts.

We are looking forward to a great season of pep band for Waconia Middle School!
